Shannon and I have bought many different varieties of sunflowers seeds this year. One of the tall, deep red (open almost black) sunflowers are blooming. Right after the breakfast in the backyard this morning, Dan noticed that we had a goldfinch eating our sunflower seeds! I took binoculars out and Dan took his camera out. We had an exciting moment watching this cheery little fellow. Yeon
